The Coca Cola Canning factory in Da Lian, China were installed with Acid-Resistant Tile. However, the industrial floor tiles in the factory are not joint free and seamless, the potent acidic solution that stems from everyday operations and productions corroded the sealing between the tiles, exposing the concrete base below and in between the tiles to acid corrosion.

Long-term exposure to acid corrosion will render the concrete base chalking and form more porous, in turn causing the tiles on top to peel off which would require a lot of maintenance work and downtime that will come with it.

 

In the Coca Cola Canning project, Forintech and ecosystem partner helped Coca Cola to hack all existing corroded tiles, reinstall the 100mm concrete base and install our own brand of Forincrete® MF 4mm PU flooring as the finishing. Thanks to the new seamless and corrosion-resistant pu flooring, the factory hasn't experienced any problems regarding corrosion and the trouble of scheduling maintenance works.
