21 Years of Expertise in Industrial Flooring

  • Is there any minimum or maximum area that I can lay the flooring?
No. We can work with both large and small areas – Contact us for a free consultation on your site
  • Does the flooring have to be applied initially when the factory is developed?
No. It doesn’t have to be, although it would the best to apply at first to save all the hassles. We can always propose a way to upgrade flooring at any stage – Contact us for a free consultation on your site
  • We can’t afford to stop production for a long time. How long is the down time for a flooring upgrade/repair?
We understand that for upgrading and repair works, time is the utmost critical factor. One of the most important traits of Forintech products is fast-drying which would save a considerable amount of time and minimize the impact to the live production. For detailed case by case consultation, please contact technical team for a more thorough inspection.
  • Our processing area is constantly wet and needs daily washing at the end of the day, can flooring be applied onto that area?
Yes. we have dedicated products catering to wet manufacturing condition. Forincrete MF is usually a good choice and Forincrete AS can be applied to those places with an even higher anti-slippery requirement. The amount of slip resistance required will depend on the operating conditions of the environment in question and can be adjusted by using different sizes and/or shapes of aggregate to produce the desired texture. It is important to note that slip resistance and cleanability are inversely proportional to one another so it is important to strike a good balance Clients don’t have worry about issues like slippery floorings and water seeping through the flooring etc. More insights can be shared after on-site inspection.
  • Some of my machines are fixed onto the floor and some are heavy. Can the flooring be applied around those fixed on?
Yes. It would be the best if machineries can be moved but we are able to apply on the area surrounding the machine as well.
  • My resin flooring has been more than 15 years and some heavy materials have damaged the floor, with cracks and crates. Can it be fixed or do I need to reapply the whole area?
Yes. After inspection, we can also do repair work to the affected area and propose catered recommendation to flooring maintenance. However, please note that there will likely be colour difference at the patching area
  • There are frequent heavy machineries/materials moving in my factory. Can your product sustain the weight?
Yes. We have dedicated material for heavy duty scenarios. Generally we would recommend Forincrete UD – please refer to our past case studies here.
  • Will food grade flooring resist cracking during steam cleaning?
Yes. Our product can resist constant cleaning and relatively high temperature. Generally, Forincrete MF will be a good choice
  • Will food grade flooring be slippery in wet environments?
Our dedicated anti-slippery product can perfectly solve this issue, and it is especially beneficial in the wet processing areas.
  • Does food grade polyurethane flooring have an odour? Will my food be tainted during installation?
We understand F&B industry would have a more stringent requirement on factory environment. Whilst the issue of tainting may not be a factor for new build projects, it does become important during renovation/refurbishment work. Forintech product is virtually odourless. Therefore, tainting of food is not an issue during the flooring installation.

  • What is the thickness of the Forintech flooring?
Our product ranges from 2mm to more than 10mm in thickness. Typically, we recommend a 2-4mm thickness in flooring which is suitable for most of the industrial scenarios, but we can also do customization if a thicker flooring is necessary.
  • Is the customer required to do any surface preparation prior to the application of the resin floor finish?
Normally customer doesn’t have to much and we will do a site inspection beforehand to determine the quality of the flooring basics and to see if any further steps needs to be taken. Please consult with our technical team for more information. Contact us
  • How is the flooring material mixed and applied to the substrate?
All material is supplied in pre-weighed packs to ensure optimum performance. Therefore, it is not necessary to split or proportion packs on site. The pre-weighed resin is then mixed on site by a high-speed drill or portable mixer before being applied to the prepared substrate. The exact application process and required tools will vary depending on the type of flooring being installed. The application process may involve the use of a hand or power trowel, spreading the material with a pin rake or notched squeegee, the use of nap or spiked rollers, etc. All of Forintech approved applicators have been fully trained in the application processes for the various flooring systems offered by Forintech. If you would like to know more about the application process of one of our flooring systems please contact our technical department for further details. Contact us
  • What types of flooring surfaces are suitable for the application of a resin floor finish?
Resin floor finishes can be installed onto a wide range of substrates including concrete, cementitious underlays, marine grade plywood and metal as well as various types of tiles and pre-existing resin floor finishes. Prior to the application of a resin floor finish, the substrate must be determined to be structurally sound and free from dust, oil, grease and other surface contaminants. Tiles and pre-existing resin floor finishes must be well bonded to the original substrate.
