Tiffin Gourmet is a subsidiary of southern Capital Group focusing on food preprocessing services. TG has a high standard in hygiene and health and supply to prestigious childcare centers and large diet meal providers.

 

TG utilized tiles for its central kitchen facility. It faced challenges with persistent dirt that was difficult to completely clean, and the floor became slippery after washing. Due to frequent washing, the seal on the tiles corroded and peeled off, resulting in uneven flooring and drainage issues, leading to stagnant water. The Singapore Food Agency (SFA), the local food authority, expressed significant concern about the stagnant water and ordered the company to rectify the issue before resuming operations.

 

Forintech assisted TG in hacking the existing tiles and applying a new screed along with its own brand of pu(polyurethane) flooring: ForinCrete MF 4mm PU mortar anti-slip system. This was done to level the floor, address drainage issues, and permanently resolve problems related to stagnant water, difficult cleaning, and slippery surfaces.
