1. Application Process
Step 1: Surface Preparation

Substrate Repair: Repair any cracks, holes, or damage on the surface to ensure a level and stable base for the PU screed.
Moisture Content Verification: Check the substrate moisture content using a specialized moisture meter. Ensure it meets the technical requirements for optimal adhesion (typically ≤4%).

Step 2: First Layer Application

2. Preparation Requirements
Environmental Conditions:
Temperature: Maintain a stable ambient temperature between 10-30°C during the installation process to ensure proper chemical reactions of the PU.
Humidity: Keep humidity levels below 85% to prevent condensation, which can negatively impact adhesion.
Concrete Substrate Requirements:
Cleanliness: Ensure the concrete substrate is free from any oil, grease, dirt, or contaminants.
Roughness: Create a suitable surface roughness by grinding or shot blasting to improve adhesion.
Levelness: The substrate should be relatively level, with no significant holes or unevenness to avoid mortar pooling.
3. Curing Time
Curing Stages:
Initial Curing: After 12-16 hours, the surface will begin to stabilize, but it is crucial to avoid heavy loads during this period.
Light Foot Traffic: After 24-36 hours, light foot traffic or inspections can be permitted.
Full Cure: The PU screed will reach its maximum strength, load-bearing capacity, and chemical resistance after approximately 7 days.
